Associate Professor, Housing Studies Program
Dr. Ann Ziebarth is an Associate Professor in the Housing Studies Program. As a rural sociologist she is interested in small towns and rural areas. Dr. Ziebarth’s research focuses on housing as an indicator of economic, demographic, and policy changes. She has published work on migrant workers’ housing, employer assisted housing, and local housing policies. In addition, she has developed strategies for local housing needs assessment for small communities and has worked with local leaders to integrate housing planning with economic development strategies. Dr. Ziebarth also teaches housing courses in the Department of Design, Housing, and Apparel.
