Steve Roos, Research Fellow

Steve is a Research Fellow in the Center for Rural Design at the University of Minnesota.  His work focuses on issues related to land use planning in rural and exurban landscapes.  His work crosses and bridges scales from community level assistance supporting stakeholder participatory design to multi-jurisdictional inventory and analysis supporting policy development.  He also teaches courses related to physical and biological factors associated with environmental design in the Department of Landscape Architecture.  Steve earned a Bachelor's in Environmental Studies and a Master's of Landscape Architecture at the University of Minnesota.
