Dairy Decision Support Systems:
The Minnesota Dairy Decision Support Systems (DSS) project involved the
creation of an interactive and online mapping application where producers
and other members of the dairy industry could view, manipulate, and query
various types of physical and cultural geographic information systems
(GIS) data. The goal of this project is to provide the dairy
industry with a planning tool that can be used to achieve higher levels of
environmental awareness and stewardship.
