Planning for UMore Park / Master Planning Process:
The Center for Rural Design has been working to create and implement a
working Master Plan for UMore Park, a 7,500 acre University land-holding
located at the southeastern edge of the Twin Cities metropolitan area.
The general intent and purpose of the plan is to guide future development
of UMore Park, ensure it is orderly, and protect its natural environment.
Additionally, the plan is intended to protect and promote the health,
safety and general welfare of University faculty and students, as well as
the general public.
